I am now making custom 1911 grips on my CNC mill. I can make smooth sided grips or checkered grips out of many types of wood with many types of checkering.
I currently have plenty of black walnut, some mahogany, and some maple. I hope to soon get some more exotic wood.
I can also do custom checkering, if you have an idea, feel free to e-mail that idea. I can send a DXF(for autocad or similar) file of what to draw in and how to draw it. I can also engrave custom logos or text. Other shapes will also be available for magwells, etc.
